PRESS RELEASE – The Water and Sewerage Company (WASCo) Inc. wishes to inform customers of the water supply schedule for today.
The communities of Fond Cannie and Cacoa are currently being supplied, while upper Monier and Paix Bouche will be supplied today. The community of Garrand was supplied yesterday.
There are damages to the main line at Waterworks Road, as a result the communities of lower Entrepot, Lastic Hill, Cedars, lower Ravine Chabot and environs are currently without a supply.
That line is scheduled to be repaired today, along with damages to the main lines at Carellie and Corinth. Damages to the main line at lower Monier has been repaired. The line and will be reopened this morning. P
lease note that the reservoir level at the John Compton Dam has been recorded at 328.2 ft today.
This represents a 0.2 ft decrease in level. The reservoir level at the same time last year, July 29, 2014, was 322.9 ft.
WASCo wishes the public to note that while it maintains the supply of water to the aforementioned areas, there may be inconsistencies due to demand.
