NOTICE: WASCO water schedule for Friday, Feb. 12, 2016

wasco2PRESS RELEASE – The level of Reservoir at John Compton Dam has been recorded at 333.0 feet today, February 12th, 2016. This represents no change in level which was recorded yesterday February 11th, 2016.

Level at the same date last year February 12th, 2015 was 333 feet.

Daily Water Schedule:
The Water and Sewerage Company Inc. (WASCO) wishes to advise of actions and schedule for communities in the Northern part of the island for today Friday 12th February 2016

Network News

  • Fond Cannie and Cacoa were supplied yesterday.
  • Lower Ti- Chemin, Fond Assau, Chassin, Cabiche, Talvern & Hill 20 were supplied and are currently being supplied.
  • La Borne was supplied yesterday and is still being supplied.
  • Plateau was supplied yesterday
  • Garand was supplied yesterday.
  • Desrameaux, Ti Dauphin, Ravine Macok and environs were supplied yesterday.
  • Savanne en Haut was supplied yesterday.
  • La Guerre was supplied yesterday.
  • Upper Monier from Fostin Development to Plateau Pump House was supplied from last night.
  • Boguis was supplied yesterday.

Critical Actions for Today February 12th, 2016
The listed communities will be supplied today.

  • Fond Cannie and Cacoa
  • Lower Ti Chemin, Fond Assau, Chassin, Cabiche, Talvern & Hill 20
  • La Borne
  • Paix Bouche
  • Desrameaux, Ti Dauphin, Ravine Macok and environs
  • Boguis
  • Desableau
  • Upper Monier from Fostin Development to Plateau Pump House

All other communities are being served, whilst we will maintain the supply of water to the aforementioned areas, there may be inconsistencies due to demand or damages which may occur on the lines.

  • Fond St. Jacques 1: In operation; due to extremely low, extra valving will be done to accommodate customers from these areas.
  • Fond St. Jacques 2: In operation
  • Diamond 1: In operation
  • Diamond 2: In operation
  • Bouton: In operation

3. CHOISEUL SYSTEM

  • Delcer: In operation
  • Saltibus Upper: In operation
  • Saltibus Lower: In operation
  • Toucousson: In operation

4. VIEUX FORT SYSTEM

  • Grace: In operation
  • Beausejour: System closed; All areas are being supplied off Grace

5. MICOUD

  • Micoud Primary system: In operation
  • Patience: In operation (NB: Low pressure; Drought-like conditions being experience off that system from 01/02/16).
  • Belle Vue: In operation
  • Desruisseaux: In operation (NB: Low pressure; Drought-like conditions being experience off that system, from 02/02/16)

6. DENNERY

  • Errard: System closed from 2:00pm yesterday 10/2/16, as a result of turbid water
  • Thomazo: In operation
  • Aux Lyon: In operation; valving being done to supply areas with water
  • Derniere Riviere: In operation (NB: Low supply at the intake)

All other communities are being served, whilst we will maintain the supply of water to the aforementioned areas, there may be inconsistencies due to demand or damages which may occur on the lines.

  1. Minister of Agriculture please encourage the people to continue planting trees because in the long run it will help. St lucia will not have a water problem both for rivers and reservoir.
