NOTICE FROM THE MANAGEMENT OF SNO

The story about the teenager who received second-degree burns after doing the fire challenge has been removed out of a sympathy request from the family.

According to relatives, the comments/feedback from members of the public have been very harsh, inconsiderate and insulting.

Family members have also indicated that their son made a mistake, and the countless feedback from members of the public is depressing for the hospitalised teen, who would have had access to the story.

The story is accurate but we decided out of the interest of the health of the teenager, who can access the story from his hospital bed, to remove the article.

Thanks for understanding.

  3. If I call him a jackass for his actions, does that make me a bully or ignorant? Ok. Maybe his actions were exceedingly stupid and he should be made aware least he repeats them. The negative responses coming out are the consequences of his actions and instead of wilting under the pressure, it should strengthen him and deter other potential "challengers".

  4. teens like to make mistakes first and then after to correct them when adults always teach them to do the right thing. Every thing the Americans do they want to do too. When it comes to things like that and we see them on tv, they always say DON'T TRY THIS AT HOME. He will learn from it.

  5. this is NEWS... everyone who have done something stupid and foolish should ask SNL to remove the the NEWS ARTICLE.this is ridiculous, this is a platform where people express how they feel about a situation. The family need to deal with the reality of this situation, people will always talk.. They will learn not to adopt everything that is being done in the US.choops

  6. I respect the request from the family and the honouring of that request by SNO. However noone had to tell this boy that the consequences of his actions were just. I hope he heals fully and dont go around trying all crap he sees on the net.

  8. We have to protect our children, even in their time of stupidity especially when the lessons to be learnt, are the direct repercussions from the actions. The young man didnt hurt anyone but himself and I personally believe he is an example to all his fellow peers! I truely believe most of the negative comments are from immature bullies and not intelligent people.

    • Opinion / ass hole: everybody has one. And your comment isn't negative towards people who stated THEIR opinion?
And it's truly, not truely. But have a good day.

  9. And this is why they dumb child will never learn his lesson....

he will never read all the comments on how DUMB and IDIOTIC his actions were....

But go ahead delete the article and the comments.... for the rest of his life it will still be known he was the ASS who didn't think lighting himself on fire would cause great injury.

    • Guess he was there when his family was teaching you don't touch the hot stove, the hot pan, the hot iron, etc. But I guess he was missing when the lesson, how much of a jackass you must be to set yourself on fire, was taught. There's no excuse for doing the fire challenge. Go ahead and do it to realise how cool it is laying in bed in the burn unit of the hospital.

  11. I 100% support the family with their decision. We humans can be so insensitive. I hope he recovers. By the way, people can still comment right here.
