No one arrested in Belair shooting: police

(PRESS RELEASE VIA SNO) – Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a shooting incident at Belair, La Croix Maingot, Castries.

Officers attached to the Marigot Police Station responded to a report of a shooting at Belair, La Croix Maingot, about 8:15 p.m. on Friday, March 16, 2018.

Upon arrival, officers met with the virtual complainant who reported an unknown male for discharging one round of ammunition in his direction, hitting him in his upper right thigh.

No one has been arrested in relation to this incident. Investigations are continuing in this matter.

The Royal Saint Lucia Police Force would like to appeal to anyone with information regarding this incident to contact the Marigot Police Station at 456 3895.
