UPDATE: Two injured after vehicle overturns (photos added)

Two persons sustained minor injuries in a motor vehicle accident in Roseau (St. Lucia) Thursday evening, Dec. 7, according to official and eyewitness accounts.

The injured have been identified as Neil Labadie, 24, and Salvius Lamontagne, 44, both residents of Anse La Raye, officials said.

They were transported to Victoria Hospital via ambulance in stable condition, officials said.

The accident occurred around 9:30 p.m.

A witness told St. Lucia News Online that a car with two occupants “knocked a [utility] post and overturned” in the vicinity of Total Construction Supplies.

Another witness said the occupants were not trapped in the vehicle and appeared to have escaped serious injuries.

  2. i am sure that they were driving fast cause just before that happend i heard a vehicle driving down the corners with tires screeching in each corner but then again it might have been someone else

  3. ohhhhhhh no woder there was no current it seems they hit a pole there was no current in la croix, marigot roseau, coolie town the whole place was black
