Effective Wednesday, Aug. 18, as we balance benefits to the individual patient with the duty to reduce infectious exposures to visitors, other patients, the community, and the healthcare team, accompanying support will not be allowed into the labour and delivery rooms until further notice. These measures are temporary and are intended to reduce the potential risk to our patients, staff and visitors.
