PRESS RELEASE – In collaboration with the Saint Lucia Tourist Board, the Consulate General of Saint Lucia in New York has unveiled plans to honor the inaugural November 1, 2014 JetBlue Flight #363 from Boston’s Logan International Airport to the island’s Hewannora International Airport.
To celebrate the addition of this new non-stop flight to Saint Lucia, a commemorative flag-raising ceremony will be held at 12:00 noon on Friday, October 31, 2014 at Boston’s City Hall.
The event will feature a host of dignitaries and Saint Lucian nationals, including the Hon. Lorne Theophilus, Saint Lucia’s Minister for Tourism, Consul General Julian Du Bois, and Mrs. Lorine Charles-St. Jules of the Saint Lucia Tourist Board, as well as a number of local elected officials.
Also on October 31, Minister Theophilus will attend a meet-and-greet at 6:00PM at the Roxbury Community College located at 1234 Columbus Ave, Roxbury Crossing, Massachusett. Minister Theophilus will use this opportunity to connect with Saint Lucians in the Diaspora
JetBlue Flight #363 is scheduled to depart at 9:45AM and arrive in Saint Lucia at 2:25PM. The service will run every Saturday throughout the winter.
