Nelson Serieux, formerly known as “Cherry L,” is back on the scene with his banging new single “Freak,” produced by five-time Grammy winning producer Carlisle Young and Grammy-nominated producer Dwayne Shippy.
Serieux has written many crossover records while working with Young and Shippy Productions. He has co-written songs with Keisha White as well as for VH1’s Love and Hip-Hop.
Serieux’s style has evolved over the years from reggae to pop. He fuses all genres to come up with his unique sound. Serieux has recently teamed up with three talented Brooklyn-based musicians to start his own record label, DevineInterventions Music Group.
He will be releasing his recently produced singles for free as a gift to his loyal fans that have stuck by him through the years. His website will soon go live, equipped with a merchandise store, pictures, daily quotes, a blog and a calendar of events.
2013 will be a massive year for this St. Lucian native who now resides in Brooklyn, New York.
