Negotiations between NWU and Scotia Bank have begun

(PRESS RELEASE VIA SNO) – Negotiations between the Bank of Nova Scotia and the National Workers Union (NWU) have begun.

The parties have been discussing a Memorandum of Proposals submitted by the National Workers Union. These proposals are centred around the establishment of a new wage structure, the payment of merit increases due for 2018 and a new regime of fringe benefits.

Talks when concluded will benefit workers at the company’s operational units in Vieux Fort, Castries and Rodney Bay.

The talks are being held at the Coco Palm Hotel.

  1. I home the company negotiates to
    have their staff up their customer service game. They all operating like robots. We want them to stop looking at us as if they stupid. We want them to answer the phones. We want them to higher less dump staff especially those in the cards and other special services line. Whilst I am at it ensure that the express line nearest the elevator on the Boulevard is always staffed. Not forgetting to reduce the cost of letters for income tax and other purposes.
