PRESS RELEASE – “Our support for the NCF presents us with an opportunity to help support many medical and social needs and to derive lasting results from our corporate giving.”

That’s the view expressed by Managing Director of Consolidated Foods Limited Martin Dorville, as he presented the NCF with $25,000 ahead of the Foundation’s 11th Annual National Telethon which will be held on Sunday October 05, 2014 at the Gaiety on Rodney Bay.

This is CFL’s 2014 pledge to the NCF, which has set a goal of raising 250,000.00. The monies raised from the telethon are used to provide assistance to the most vulnerable in areas such as health, education, and to projects for the elderly, youth at risk and persons with disabilities.

The telethon begins at 10:00 am with activities for the whole family including a cook off in collaboration with the SLHTA, a doctor’s corner, health awareness and exercise and a children’s corner. Pledging begins at 2:00 pm and ends at 6:00 pm and can be made by calling telephone number 4503449. Customers can also pledge by texting the word “GIVE” to the codes 4405, 4420, 4450 to donate $5, $20 or $50 respectively.
The day culminates with a show featuring Baron and Sugar Aloes from Trinidad and the Invader starting at 8:00 pm.

CFL is inviting the public to support, pledge and contribute to the all-important work of the NCF.
