The National Conservation Authority (NCA) commemorated its 15th Anniversary with a Staff Recognition Awards Ceremony at the Union Orchid Garden in May.


PRESS RELEASE –
The National Conservation Authority (NCA) has collaborated with the Ministry of Sustainable Development to conduct a series of training sessions for all staff members.

The main objective of this training is to help staff members gain a better understanding of their roles in the conservation and management of our island’s natural resources.

The training, which will be covering a range of topics including climate change, water resource management, solid waste management, and will also include field trips to some key places of interest such as Roseau Dam, Mankote Mangrove, Deglos Landfill and water quality testing in the Vanard River.

The officially opening of the training sessions will take place on Wednesday, July 2 from 8 a.m. at the Pastoral Centre in Marisule, Gros Islet.
