UPDATE: Motorcyclist, driver in Marisule accident identified


A motorcyclist was admitted at hospital following a collision with a vehicle in Marisule, Gros Islet this afternoon.

The injured man has been identified Silas Isidore of Marisule.

His bike made contact with a Toyota Mark 2 (registration PB#5446) around 4:30 p.m. The car was being driven by Neal Fontenelle of Rivierre Mitant, Gros Islet.

Isidore sustained a broken leg, bruised  arm and is complaining of neck pains, sources say.

  1. And they still refuse to wear the proper gear. Why don't the law be changed to make it mandatory and police do their jobs. Those useless accidents are consuming our meagre resources at VH. SMH.

  2. Glad he is ok! But DAMN it.. why yall lucians refuse to wear the proper gear on these bikes. Based on his injuries on his arms it's clear he didn't have it on. Sigh take it easy padna...get well soon.

  3. we sometimes don't acknowledge the motorcycle riders on the road, it was made for all sorts of transportation... let's respect each other on the road and be courteous.... get well soon..
