PRESS RELEASE – Eight primary schools participated in the District One Science Quiz yesterday, 3rd February 2016 at the Gros Islet Secondary School. Participating schools were:
Montessori Centre
Dame Pearlette Primary
Babonneau Primary
La Guerre Primary
Balata Primary
Grande Rivière Primary
Gros Islet Primary
Monchy Primary

Dame Pearlette Primary and Monchy Primary were tied but Monchy emerged champions, with representatives Arden Rosemond, Kerwin Andes and Sinniah Gatneau answering ALL questions correctly earning them 65 points.

Dame Pearlette Primary School won second place with 60 points and Gros Islet Primary School got 3rd place with 50 points.

Monchy Primary School will represent District One at the National Quiz on February 18, 2016.
