Monchy Primary recognizes musician J.B “Lucian Parrot” Gaspard

PRESS RELEASE – As the island celebrates Music Month under the theme, “Celebrating Our Own”, Monchy Primary School has chosen to highlight one of their own. J.B Gaspard is a well known musician who sang popular Christmas songs such as “Nwel Oh Nwel Oh Wivay” and several others.

On Friday, November 25, 2016, the school held a special assembly in his honor. During this time, his work and contribution to the world of music was highlighted in great detail.

An emotional “thank you, thank you, thank you” was expressed as his gratitude to the school. He was also presented with gifts as appreciation for his contribution to music.

The assembly was headed by the school’s music teacher, Ms. Cynthia Hall and the principal, Mrs. Jane Jacob-Jean.
