A 63-year-old woman who went missing Sunday afternoon is back at her La Ressource, Vieux Fort home.

Relatives said Eulice Jn Pierre, who has early stages of dementia, was spotted by resident/s in Dierre Morne, Vieux Fort walking about, carrying “old stuff”.

Relatives received they received the call at 2:30 p.m. today.

She had gone missing on Sunday between 3 and 4 p.m., relatives said.

Note: Dementia is a general term for a decline in mental ability severe enough to interfere with daily life. Memory loss is an example. Alzheimer’s is the most common type of dementia (source: alz.org).

  2. THANK U JESUS. THIS DISEASE IS VERY SERIOUS.I FIND MYSELF FORGETTING A LOT AND NOT BEING ABLE TO REMEMBER PEOPLES NAMES .I WONDER IF THAT IS THE EARLY STAGE. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE EXPLAIN.

    • If it is becoming a problem, then you should see a doctor about it. If the doctor tests you and finds out it is dementia then there is medication that can slow down its progress. Memory loss can be caused by a host of things, so the doctor can explain all that to you
