Miss St. Lucia Universe 2014 crowned

Roxanne Didier-Nicholas was crowned Miss Saint Lucia Universe 2014 on Sunday, September 28 at the Gaiety in Rodney Bay, at the Miss Universe Saint Lucia Pageant.

The former University of the West Indies graduate contended among seven beauties, securing the highest points in the competition of 1774, as well the title of best interview.

Nicholas who possess a thirst for learning through academics and has a passion for dance will represent St Lucia on the International stage at the 63rd Miss Universe Pageant to take place on January 25, 2015.

Securing second place with 1590 points and best swimwear title in the beauty pageant was Louis Victor, followed by Tania Biscarlet in third place, with 1519 points.

  1. Congrats Roxanne, only you were fit enough to represent us. I remember in 2010 the same thing was said about the judges decision. Hmmm how the table turns. Just remember to enjoy this experience, you are the chosen one and that cannot be denied. There is a God.

  2. Congrats Roxanne Didier Nicholas. You deserve it. This was not your first Pageant. First carnival Queen Saint Lucia, second Miss Caraval, St. Vincent, Third Miss Uwiverse at the University of the west Indies St. Augustine Trinidad. You were the best of the girls that why you won. @ Joan She did answer the question correctly (go back and listen to the recording). she won. Judges Decision final. She will make us proud.

  3. Congrats Roxy. Judges decision is final. But I guess there is really a lot to question here. I love your confidence and you were indeed in the top contender bracket as it was clear that some individuals did not stand a chance. On the night however the show was definately Louise own. You walked away with best interview but I'm still waiting to hear how dancing could be married with business or how it has helped you in that field. You were fluent but you lacked content and failed to addressing what was asked. It makes me wonder if the judges have any knowledge of the organisation which Louise presented, its mandate and how it operates to achieve its mandate and cause her response was on point and she was also fluent and spoke with confidence and knowledgeable on the subject area. Hope you are psychologically ready as well for the international stage. Best of luck.

      i'm all for supporting my country but its just the truth......Louise should have won this and those judges for sum reason were blind

    • Short? So many oriental women that have won that contest and anyway she is much more beautiful than the tall girls St.Lucia send.
