The Miss St. Lucia Most Talented Teen Pageant will be held on November 2 at the National Cultural Centre.
The event will showcase seven contestants as they vie for the 2013 title.
The contestants were selected through a national audition, after which a final selection was made. Contestants competing for the finals for the past few months underwent intense training in their specific talent areas, speech, interview, stage usage, etiquette and holistic development, which were facilitated by professional trainers in the respective fields.
Each contestant in the finals will compete in four major categories — Production Number, Ambassadorial Speech, Talent and Evening Wear with Stage Interview.
The winner of the pageant will represent St. Lucia at the regional pageant held annually in St. Kitts — the Miss Caribbean Most Talented Teen Pageant.
This year’s pageant will highlight some of St. Lucia’s up and rising youth performers such as gospel singer AJ, Ashley Jules , Youth and Fire, Untitled 51 and Silver Shadow Performing Arts Academy.
The Miss St. Lucia Most Talented Teen Pageant has been the introductory training ground for St Lucia’s finest national queens over the years.
