PRESS RELEASE – The St. Lucia Youth Business Trust in conjunction in conjunction with the Micoud North Constituency Council is offering to young entrepreneurs and potential entrepreneurs of Micoud and environs a “Microsoft Boot-Camp.”

  1. Yng Entrpr from Mic

Appreciate the effort but I think it should be geared towards the school students, which I believe is already being done.

As for encouraging and motivating the youth to be more self-reliant in business, learning Microsoft software to create a business plan or keep records in excel are of their least concerns.

I would suggest some community building by identifying the "real" issues that these individuals are facing and working on a more realistic approach to assisting them (that will actually work).

    P.S
    Workshops ideas:
1.)Teaching youth to be Self-reliant - Personal Development Workshops.

2.)Assisting youth in Running Business & Professional lives - Problem solving and Training Workshops.

  3. Efforts are most definitely misplaced. It is not a "that or nothing " attitude that should be our response to our economic or unemployment situation either. What should be our NATIONAL leapfrogging objective a la LPM?
