Goats devoured about 100 plantain plants.

A case involving two farmers of Micoud over the damage done to agricultural crops ended on July 2 in a settlement.

Ian Augustin of Boucher, Micoud was compensated$1,239 for destruction done to about 100 plantain plants by a set of goats which belong to George Clifford of the same area.

The matter was brought before the Magistrate’s Court in Dennery last week where Clifford agreed to pay for the damage caused by his animals.
