  2. That man on the road attacked by that so called mad man is my uncle. Those of you concerned for the mad mans dignity etc. should be concerned about my uncles' injuries, the pain he's in right now, and his family who are very worried for his life. My uncle Mr.Charley was enjoying an afternoon on his balcony when he was attacked, so the last thing we his family are thinking about is the way the mad man was treated, we are just happy that he was caught. I hope this is a lesson to the St. Lucian government to do something about the mad people that are wondering the streets.

  4. While I understand some of the statements made here about how this man was treated. ..what about the vehicles he damaged. Breaking my friends vehicle window..while passing on the road. Who exactly is going to pay for it? Alot of yourll like to speculate when you'll know nothing. I am not saying it was right the way he was treated but with that said..what if he had knock out somebody while pelting those stones. The man was out of control. In the process of trying to get hold of him that was one of the best resorts at the time..tie him up.
So before you people talk about how this man was treated you'll need to think of how worst things could have gotten if he wasn't tied up

  7. WHEN MENTALLY CHALLENGE PEOPLE DO THEIR BAD THINGS, THEY DON'T GET PUNISH,IF THAT IS WHAT THEY COULD DO TO CALM HIM THEN IT WAS A GOOD MOVE INSTEAD OF SHOOTING HIM.

  8. I don't feel sorry for him, they should have break his legs and arms. I saw this incident happen right before my eyes. Feel sorry for the poor man who already was suffering from a stroke, and was sitting in his balcony when this so called "mad man" attacked him. Nothing is going to happen to the "mad man" but the victim now has his hospital bills to pay. Who's going to pay it for him.

  9. Who is going to cover him up? No one will give a blanket, bedsheet, etc, etc. You should have sent one to them.

    • Again you are not the one in the situation, so you will sit in comfort and write bullshit here. It would be a different story if you came up on that very same mental man doing this to your family member. At least he is not injured, but he injured the old man for no reason. And p.s. the persons who tired him didn't take off his clothes. He took off his clothes long before he attacked the poor man. His shirt stayed at mongouge and he attacked the man all the way at Darketin. Two communities far from each other........ smh

  14. Sad day for St.Lucia in the way the man and many people with mental illness are being treated.I am really upset in the manner in which the man's feet were tied for God's sake we live in the 21st century and this is still allowed to happen?Mental illness is an issue affecting many people around the world, and we still have many people who still see mental illness as a laughing matter. The country needs proper qualified medical staff when handling situations like these.SNO I think both of the men pictures should not have been exposed like that for the world to see.At least it should have a warning for viewers.
