The play is being staged in Brooklyn, New York as part of activities to mark St. Lucia’s 37th anniversary of independence. It is presented as a joint collaboration between Heat Wave Productions and the Office of the Consulate General of St. Lucia in New York.
Karen Joseph is a seasoned actress who was trained under UNESCO Drama Programs in Stage Acting, Costume Development and Production. She has acted in Letter from Leonora, Yardie and Dream on Monkey Mountain. Karen is thrilled to return to the stage to do what she loves best, which is acting.
Meanwhile, Curtis Browne makes his acting debut in Zingay. He confesses that he has always wanted to act but hadn’t the opportunity. Now that he has found the chance to hit the stage, expect him to shine at his first showing. Curtis is synonymous with KARMA Carnival Band.
