Hollywood star Matt Damon has reportedly rented out the entire Sugar Beach resort, formerly known as The Jalousie Plantation, to renew vows with his wife, according to The Daily Mail newspaper.
Damon, 42, and his wife, Luciana Barroso, 37, have spent £300,000 or about EC$1.2 million for the week-long celebration which includes guests such as “George Clooney, Brad Pitt and his fiancee Angelina Jolie, and his latest co-star, Michael Douglas and his Oscar-winning wife Catherine Zeta-Jones”, the British newspaper reported.
The publication quoted a staff member of Sugar Beach as saying that the hotel was booked under a different name ‘Mr. Naff” to keep the secret from being spilled.
“We were told that it was a Mr and Mrs Naff getting married. We then heard that it was Matt Damon and they had been using a false name to stop their secret being found out. He was here two months ago to have a look around. A big yacht moored by the beach and he came into the resort,” the Mail quoted the unidentified staff member as saying.
“According to sources, all 78 rooms at the five-star hotel, which was opened 21 years ago by the late Princess Margaret’s close friend Lord Glenconner, and has more recently played host to guests including actress Gwyneth Paltrow and her husband, Coldplay singer Chris Martin, have been booked for a week from April 8 for the event,” the Mail stated in the same article.
Damon has since starred in commercially successful films such as Saving Private Ryan (1998), the Ocean’s trilogy, and the first three films in the Bourne series.

that person obviously doesn't belong in the hotel industry... thats a damn shame, not only can it damage the rep of our island and the hotel in question but it can also cost them $$$$. plz ppl lets try to be grown up and "alot" more professional @ our jobs...
Suppose to be a private affair, who drop the bomb? Hope they do not sell it to The Enquirer, Star, People, US margazine before the couple give their permission, or else that will be a hefty fine to pay.
