Marchand emerged champions of the St. Lucia Football Association Inter-district female competition after defeating Anse La Raye 2-1 in the final on the Corinth playing field on Sunday, Jan. 13, 2013.

Melisa Henry (43rd minute) and Castel Peter (2nd minute) scored for Marchand. Creselda Cox (56th minute) scored for Anse La Raye.

Meanwhile Vieux Fort North edged Micoud 3-2 to win third place.

Vieux Fort North scored the first two goals to end the half at 2-0, but Micoud rallied back with a valiant effort which was not enough in the end.

Samala Edward (17th minute) and Melisha Augustin (25th and 64th minutes) scored for Vieux Fort North, while Elva Descartes (46th and 78th minutes) scored for Micoud. Descartes second goal came from a penalty kick.
