Man stabbed in the eye and shoulder at beach party

Police have not arrested anyone in relation to the stabbing incident at the Praslin beach party over the Easter weekend.

Reports are that 24-year-old Jean Alexander of Denniere Riviere was stabbed in the shoulder and eye by an unknown assailant. The motive for the attack is not yet known.

He was transported to St. Jude’s Hospital. His medical condition is unknown at this time.

Police investigations continue.

  2. Heh crow! I completly agree with you, the people who organize this things have to put security measures in place before they are allowed to host any events.. With the mentality of the majority of people on our beautiful island of St Lucia, i am sure nothing will change.....

    • Were you there to say there was no security,
      Secuirity cannot prevent people from doing what they want its a public beach. We are all responsible for our actions. the same way we complain about crime but when we see it happen we dont tell the police

  3. These "large gatherings" need to be held liable for such incidents because they are supposed to provide security measures to ensure patron's safety. This is the law.
