Man shot and injured in Castries

shootingA man was reportedly shot and injured in the Bois Patat area, Castries on Friday night, according to reports.

The victim was reportedly shot in the upper body. He is reportedly in stable condition.

A resident told St. Lucia News Online (SNO) that he heard about four shots and saw when an ambulance subsequently took the injured man to hospital.

SNO received the report of the shooting at around 9:45 p.m., but the incident likely occurred earlier.

No further details were available.

  3. There is no lesson to be learnt, because no one is getting caught and even when they are caught , the punishment is so lenient. Where are all those guns coming from ? How do they get here and by whom ? Is there a distributer ? Do we track the source ones the owner is apprehended ? We must stop the flow. Toughen punishment.
