A man was reportedly shot and injured in the Bois Patat area, Castries on Friday night, according to reports.
The victim was reportedly shot in the upper body. He is reportedly in stable condition.
A resident told St. Lucia News Online (SNO) that he heard about four shots and saw when an ambulance subsequently took the injured man to hospital.
SNO received the report of the shooting at around 9:45 p.m., but the incident likely occurred earlier.
No further details were available.
