A resident told St. Lucia News Online (SNO) that the man was carrying out works on a small truck in the community when it rolled over him.
The resident said the man was not crushed by the truck’s wheel because he was located in the centre, under the vehicle.
However, he sustained injuries when a part of the truck’s undercarriage made contact with him.
He was rushed to hospital via ambulance. His condition is reported to be stable.
