(NEW YORK POST) – A UK man choked a woman to death during kinky sex they had just two hours after meeting for the first time at a bus stop, according to a report.

Mark Bruce admitted to killing Chloe Miazek after meeting her late at night in Aberdeen, Scotland, on Nov. 3, the Telegraph reported.

The pair, who had been drinking heavily that night, quickly bonded over their mutual love for erotic asphyxiation.

Miazek, 20, died during sex at Bruce’s apartment.

Hours after her death, Bruce, 32, was caught on surveillance video walking the streets before turning himself in at a police station.

“I have done something terrible. I have killed someone. I strangled her, she is on the bed,” Bruce told police, according to the BBC.

Bruce originally faced murder charges but copped to a lesser charge of culpable homicide Monday.

Prosecutor Jo McDonald said forensic reports were consistent with Bruce’s story that they’d had sex at 3:30 a.m.

“His explanation is he placed his hands around her neck during sexual intercourse and the evidence is consistent with that,” McDonald said. “The evidence suggests death is likely to have been quick, seconds rather than minutes. The extent of the injuries suggested not much force being used.”

Defense attorney Brian McConnachie said there was evidence that Miazek, who worked at Tesco supermarket, was turned on by being choked during sex.

“Her former partner always declined,” McConnachie said. “I don’t wish to sound like I’m suggesting she was the author of her own misfortunate, but it is a significant factor.”

Miazek’s parents, Bob and Theresa, said in a statement that the death of their “beautiful daughter and sister” was “difficult to comprehend.”

Bruce will be sentenced April 5.

  1. Near death, the body releases large quantities of opioids like oxytocin and DMT. With no physical injuries, this leads to a euphoric feeling. Some people, having discovered this "natural addiction", seek to simulate it by asphyxiation.

There is no unbiased way to judge them, as everyone is addicted to some kind of hormone. Oxytocin addiction is what makes you crave sex. Dopamine addiction makes you crave sweets, enjoy rewards and being praised. Heck even pooping feels good because the Vagus nerve is being stimulated.

Its unfortunate she died, but such is the nature of the human body. We are simply a giant ball of addictions.

    • We are not pre-programmed robots! We can and do make conscious decisions every day as to what we do and if it is Dangerous to us and others, such as building work, driving, deep sea diving etc, so people engaging in this sort of sex have NO excuse when their actions cause a death to another person.
