Male students at George Charles Secondary steered towards striving for achievement

With the aim of inspiring male students to aspire to greater levels of endeavour academically and otherwise, boys are getting all the attention this week with a workshop being conducted for 61 male students of the George Charles Secondary School.

The Rotary Club of Saint Lucia and former educator Fortuna Anthony devised the project in collaboration with the school to encourage positivity among youth at risk.

Principal of the George Charles Secondary School, Wulstan Alfred, said that the project was a timely one and further explained how the students were selected for the project.

He said the students were handed a questionnaire before the workshop and will be handed another at the end in order for stakeholders to ascertain changes in their perception of the future.

Public Relations Manager at Sandals Resorts International, Dominic Fedee, was among the presenters selected to address the students.

The four-day workshop is being held at the Human Resource Centre in Entrepot.
