“Making A Difference Everywhere” foundation seeks to boost voluntarism among young St. Lucians

1169920_1229155547110241_1077268834_nPRESS RELEASE – MADE – (Making A Difference Everywhere) is a newly Formed grouped in Choiseul. MADE was established on October 10th, 2015.

The group’s name was chosen as it relates to the overall aims & objectives of the group which is making a difference everywhere.  

The aims of MADE are

  • To bring together and foster understanding about volunteering amongst young people from the diverse communities in St. Lucia.
  • To promote recreational activities, mutual support and joint aid among our members.
  • To support local voluntary action by local people, working in partnership with other support organizations and with the public and private sectors.

MADE St. Lucia  will be embarking on a number of voluntary projects in St.Lucia. For our first project six Primary Schools in the South of the Island was selected and a child in need will be receiving a hamper Containing School supplies and Grocery items.  The hamper distribution is scheduled for Friday 4th December, 2015.

Persons interested in joining the group are required to Collect an application form from any of the members. Notice will be given if your application has been either approved/declined.

Once you have been approved, prospective members are required to with go a 1 month probationary period beginning effectively on the day of orientation; this is to ensure if they are well-equipped to become a member of the group. This is also done to ensure that serious, hard-working and committed persons are selected to join the group.
