(PRESS RELEASE VIA SNO) – Saint Lucia`s 2016 Road March King Lance Montoute, popularly known as Mac 11, is ready for Carnival.
So far, the versatile and high energy artist has produced five songs for the 2018 season and he continues to put in late hours in the studio, on target to release an estimated ten songs this year.
His first song “Ready” is the unofficial theme song for Saint Lucia Carnival 2018.
Also described as “the Revelers Anthem”, this infectious groovy soca single is sure to be a top contender for the 2018 Groovy Monarch title. On the track Mac 11 “flips the script”, delivering amazing vocals while encouraging revelers to get in line and ready-up for carnival. “Ready is produced by young Cicieron resident Jamie “Grabba” St Marthe and is written by Lance “Mac 11” Montoute.
In his quest to keep a budding niche alive, Mac 11 has also released a unique Dennery Segment song titled tonight – the carnival link-up song. Tonight is produced by Krone Productions and has since received positive airplay and likes from fans and music lovers worldwide.
Carnival and soca lovers always anticipate serious pace with the dawn of every new season and this year Mac 11 has not disappointed.
The soca star has teamed up with 758 maestro Aimran “PanMan” Simmons to produce another power soca hit single “Doh Stick”. This song appeals for a “Violence Free Carnival”, calling on revelers and carnival lovers not to tolerate any attempts to spoil carnival or incite war during the celebrations. In the chorus Mac 11 chants “No boop in your back, carnival is not for that” and “So tell the revelers let us all unite, this year no time to fuss and fight”.
His forth release this year is a “fun song” on the Sick Jab Riddim produced by New York based Fox Production. The song entitled “don’t touch my phone” presents some humor while addressing an important domestic issue.
Mac 11 is set to release his fifth track “Shut it Down” to coincide with his thirty second birthday on June 12. The artist promises to “turn up” Saint Lucia carnival 2018.
