LPM to reveal anniversary plans on Monday

PRESS RELEASE – As part of the package of events in celebration of the fourth anniversary as a political organisation, the Lucian People’s Movement (LPM) will host a press conference outside its national headquarters on Marie Therese Street in Gros Islet on Monday, August 18th, 2014.

The conference is scheduled to begin promptly at 10:00 a.m., will allow the party an opportunity to discuss its future and to address a number of issues pertaining to the current governance of Saint Lucia.

The LPM deeply values the growing independence of the Saint Lucia Press Corp, which is manifested daily in its decision to air and publish the party’s position on a wide range of issues affecting the country and to do so without bias.

Moreover, its understanding that a democracy cannot exist without the input of the minority speaks volumes for the future of our country.
