Sea Island Cotton Shop recently formed partnerships with five local manufacturers.

The gift and souvenir shop was able to gain access to the manufacturers of gift lines all made in Saint Lucia, facilitated by the Trade Export Promotion Agency (TEPA); at the most recent Saint Lucia Hotel and Tourism Association’s annual general meeting and tradeshow.

Sea Island’s main area of expertise is duty free retail with stores located in many of the prime visitor areas. It an ideal medium through which many local products receive exposure and are exported all over the world, one tourist at a time.

The shop will now carry the following products: coconut oil by Alirose; chocolate by Cocoa Sainte Lucie and Cocoa Caribe; and handmade soaps by Savon Belle and Sailor Soap.

The products, Sea Island said, were found to be of international standards.
