On the occasion of Independence Day 2015, Her Excellency the Governor General, as Chancellor of the National Societies of Honour, and in accordance with the provisions of Section 25 of the National Honours and Awards Act, has been pleased to make the following appointments.

  7. I am happy to see Mary Joan Smith on that list. However, I believe she is more deserving of (Gold). This is a very old lady who continues to serve her church and community. She's taught generations at a long long standing family preschool which continue to educate and nurture little minds in Mon Repos. Most of the school's alma mater hold prominent positions contributing to the development of this country.So I agree that she's more deserving of that Gold troubetzoy. But then again this is a humble well respected lady who it's not bothered by such. God have already awarded and has in store bigger awards. Nevertheless congrats teacher Joany!

WOULD YOU BELIEVE THAT RIGHT NOW IN SOUFRIERE MALGRETOUTE THAT GOVERMENT HAS SEIZED PEOPLE LANDS TO SELL OVER TO THE DEVELOPERS OF FREEDOM BAY AND AT A MERE USD $ 3.OO A SQFT OR XCD$ 8.00 WHILST THE DEVELOPERS WILL SELL THAT LAND OVER FOR USD$ 25-30 A SQFT OR XCD $60-75. THEY WOULD ALSO MAKE MONEY FOR YEARS TO COME. SOME OF THESE PEOPLE ARE ELDERLY AND DONT KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON
