LIME introduces debt amnesty

LIME is welcoming customers back to the leading landline, Internet, mobile and cable TV network in St. Lucia over the coming weeks.

In February and March, LIME customers with an outstanding balance can get up to 80 percent of their outstanding debt wiped clean.

This initiative comes against the backdrop of difficult economic times, and Saint Lucia and the Caribbean’s leading full-service telecommunications company is going out of its way to help its customers settle and reconnect their LIME service.

The company is introducing a Debt Amnesty Programme that gives every residential and business landline, internet, mobile and LIME TV customer with an overdue balance owing for one year or more, the opportunity to have up to 80 percent of those unpaid bills cleared completely.

Customers are encouraged to take advantage of this special offer by visiting any LIME store or calling the Credit Control Department at 453-9227 for more details.

“We understand that some of our customers may have problems paying all of their service bills,” said Chris Williams, LIME St. Lucia general manager.

“We will always try to help customers who are trying to pay. This special amnesty offer is generous and far-reaching. It is a way of providing customers with the support they need to help them gain peace of mind and get back on track by having their service reactivated debt-free and hassle-free.”

  1. My take on this is that LIME is a reap off. LIME disconnected me 2 years ago and I am still being billed on a monthly basis for a service I have not received for 2 ... years. This is sure some bull-crap. Amnesty my bum bum. They should say come pay your last bill since disconnection and you will get instantly reconnection then I will come pay and maybe agree reconnect.

  4. Debt Amnesty Programme- pure marketing ((nonsense)!!! BTW 80% percent after ppl have been with LIME for years. ANYway LIME can be accepting former customers for FREE AND I STILL WOULDN'T COME BACK!!!

  6. I am unsatisfied. I know that lime knows that I know that they know that they can do better than that. What about customers who are owing for years and due to a bad record cannot reconnect. Come on lime. U have had over 50yrs of business in st luucia most of which u opperated as a monopoly. U can sure do better for your most valuable and profitable clientele

    • How much greedy can one be? You realise that this is a profit making business right? The company does not have to this yet they are still making an effort to assist considering the economic situation. Maybe you or whomever should have tried setting up a payment plan with the company instead of now berating them. #nonpaidspokesperson #IamnotaLIMEcustomeroremployee
