LIME gives customers ‘Merry Moments’ this Christmas; hundreds to win Google Tabs, iPod Nanos and Beats headsets weekly

Castries, Saint Lucia – 16 November 2012: LIME, the Caribbean’s best-value network, launches its Christmas campaign this Saturday, offering customers across the region many ‘Merry Moments,’ complete with big savings and hundreds of weekly prizes for the season.

Prizes on offer include the powerful and portable Google Nexus 7 tablet, the new credit-card-thin Apple iPod Nano and the coveted Monster Beats Solo HD headphones. To qualify for a chance to win, customers can pay any LIME bill in full and on time. Prepaid mobile customers can TopUp at least $15, make a call to another local LIME number lasting at least 5 minutes or send at least 10 text messages in a given day.

Persons buying a BlackBerry 9220, BlackBerry 9320 or Samsung Galaxy Y will also qualify, as will individuals who sign up for any postpaid service or upgrade an existing service.

A limited number of customers get a compact travel speaker set when they buy the BlackBerry 9220 or 9320. And the newly-introduced Samsung Galaxy Y Android smartphone comes preloaded with apps valued at over US$150.

In a move that the company says will put ‘more value in the pockets’ of its customers, the full-service telco is giving its mobile, internet and landline customers loads of savings and many chances to win in its XL Value, broadband Internet specials and landline international bundle offers.

Chris Williams, General Manager of LIME Saint Lucia, says the promotion is sure to be heartily welcomed by the company’s customers.

“We are already giving away $1,000 in cash, plus $500 groceries daily in our $500,000 BIG Money Everyday Giveaway,” Chris explains. “Now, more of our customers will be winning fabulous prizes from LIME this Christmas. We create special moments year-round through our communications solutions, but with Merry Moments, we are excited that we can give back a bit more.”

The XL value promotion offers a mix of free talk time and free SMS – 55 minutes free after the first five minutes and 20 free texts after the first 10 texts.Postpaid mobile customers can get more savings than ever before with ‘Merry Moments.’ New postpaid customers get 3GB of FREE data for a month, 100 minutes every month for a year to call a special LIME mobile number, and a $25 gift voucher to use when the next minimum purchase valued at $150 is made, and postpaid reward points among others.

Existing customers who buy a new handset – including iPhone, Samsung and BlackBerry smartphones – and sign a contract, buy a Talk, Text and Data (TTD) package or upgrade the existing one or renew their contract with will get some of the same benefits plus Free Weekends on the TTD plan.

Customers have been taking advantage of some LIME Christmas offers for several weeks already. New Internet customers get 25% off the first three months of service with any plan selected, plus a free wireless modem. New and existing landline customers can add a WorldPak bundle, giving them 1,000 minutes to call international destinations (China, Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands, USA, Canada,UK landlines) for just $34.50.

Since October 15 LIME has been giving its top customers 100MB of free data and 100 free text messages on alternate Thursdays and Sundays for prepaid and postpaid customers respectively. This will continue to the end of this month (November 2012), delivering to customers more moments they can use to connect with family and friends leading up to the festive season.
