On Friday everyone who visited the company’s retail stores in Castries, Vieux Fort and at the Bay Walk Mall was treated to a Kwéyòl breakfast and the usual warm hospitality in a fun-filled and festive atmosphere.
LIME also had a special treat for its employees. They too were treated to a delicious Creole breakfast in departments throughout the company. They also took the opportunity to connect and fellowship with one another in true Kweyol spirit.
Moreover, the staff got the opportunity to enjoy an ‘Oil Down,’ Grenada’s popular national dish last Friday cooked and prepared specially for them by the Country Manager, Geraldine Pitt.
Ms Pitt said, “We take pleasure in giving back to our customers and letting them know how deeply we appreciate them. It’s also wonderful to be have the opportunity to connect with our colleagues and let them now how much their hard work is valued and appreciated.
We, at LIME, also believe in the importance of helping to promote appreciation for culture and a sense of national pride. That’s why we are delighted to be partnering with the Folk Research Centre for Jounen Kwéyòl this year.
LIME takes the opportunity to wish everyone in St. Lucia happy Jounen Kwéyòl.
