Leader of the Opposition Stephenson King has thanked the delegates for their loyal support during the recently concluded 37th Convention of the United Workers Party.

King, despite not retaining the post of political leader, said he appreciates the dedication and loyalty of his supporters all the way to the very end of the ceremony, held on Sunday, July 28, 2013.

King also reiterated his support for the United Workers Party and remains unwaveringly committed to working for and on behalf of the constituents of Castries North who he represents in the House of Parliament.

  2. I believe that the way to the top, should not involve stepping on people at the bottom. King will be back at the top, because he comes from the bosom of the party. So to Guy I say what goes around comes around! Your day is soon.

  3. Yep, King should have booted a couple of those sorry characters from the party. He would have been trying better off today. They were like an albatros around the poor guy's neck. King is a humble guy who got screwed by those deviants. I believe his leadership days are effectively over. His case is a lesson of how being too nice can destroy you.

  4. Steve Man we will always love you. My honest opinion you apart from Sir John was the best Prime Minister we ever had even some qualities better than him. You are a very humble man. My concern with you was not standing up to some of the hooligans and bullies in the party, the like of RF,RB,especially, I don't know if Mr. Chastnet will reed them out but they declaring their support for you and the mud slinging at Mr.Chansnet by RF the last few days only hurt you more. You are still king , I know you will continue to work with the new team and take our country back for Kenny and company.

  5. Just remain positive and allow the King of kings to control the system. There is a greater job ahead for you. Be patient and thanks for being who you are and for your services to the people of St. Lucia as the leader/PM.

  6. King is very humble indeed. I am sure that people voted for Chas because they don't want Richard in the party. If King had gotten rid of him a long time ago he would have still been the leader today. Humble he is but coward indeed.

  7. He is indeed a humble man. I think voted for Chas only because they do not want Richard in the party. I am pretty sure if King had gotten rid of Frederick a long time ago he would still be leader of the party today.

  9. Many a time, politicians forget to say thank you to supporters just because they lost an election. But we fail to realize that even in losing, there are still people who voted for you.

Good job King!!! Never forget your people.
