The Forum is an annual event which provides an opportunity for community agencies and organisations to share information on their work, and collectively discuss development initiatives and challenges.  A special feature of this year’s event is a presentation by a Tourism Consultant engaged by Caribbean Local Economic Development (CARILED) Project to facilitate the development and implementation of ideas for establishing a quality village tourism product for the community.

This year’s event will be preceded by the unveiling of the refurbished Village Mural; and the exposition of paintings produced by artists and students during Paint the Village 2017.  Paint the Village is an event on the Calendar of events for Laborie hosted by Jonathan Gladding as part of the annual Nobel Laureate Festival.

Community agencies, organizations and representatives of special interest groups in Laborie are encouraged to attend the 2017 edition of the Forum.
