  5. What is troubling about this weed eradication is that there is or was a Marijuana Tourism Conference to discuss issues related to the subject as part of a broader discussion on medical, health and wellness tourism which all Tourism ministers or reps from the Caribbean. The debate surrounding marijuana tourism has taken a sharper focus in recent months following its legalization for recreational use by two US states, including Colorado. Uruguay has also become the first country in the world to make it legal to grow, sell and consume cannabis. This was done because Marijuana made US$19 million in tax revenue from recreational marijuana during the first half of the year. Now if they are discussing this why a right thinking Government and also the police would go and burn down all their crops now which is helping those growers and sellers in the poor communities make a living and also in the long run fuel the economy. I wonder what they will do if Marijuana is legalized and we have destroyed all our crops and have nothing to show or join in when things get hot with the weed industry. To me when things are under discussion there should be a halt in the eradication until the correct agreement was reached on the debate. That's why I say we in St. Lucia a doomed because of the old minds wanting to do all the thinking and solutions without consulting others meaning they don't think outside the box. All these mean can do is straight forward thinking which is not working right now and has no good returns. The world right now needs to think differently to survive and the have already realized that and have moved forward but St.Lucia is still living in the past and can't move ahead that's why we are always last in what we do. Why not try to be the first in something and take our lives, economy and everything else into our own hands.

You call the police station cause youre being harrassed they will say no vehicles, you call dem n tell them theres a weed plantation 3 vehicles going up one time to the area. So tell me now..... What are those officers more interested in? To serve and protect or destroy? Tell me,tell me,tell me........
