(PRESS RELEASE) – KM² Solutions, a leading US-based provider of nearshore business process outsourcing (BPO) services, is pleased to announce the appointment of Bob Wrightson as the new Vice President of Operations in Barbados.
Bob is a strategic and hands on operations executive and comes to this company with extensive experience leading and improving performance in the financial, B2B, and BPO service sectors.
Mr. Wrightson will support KM2 Solutions in successfully leading the Barbados site operations and achievement of company’s strategic goals by sharing both his extensive experience as an executive of international corporations and his expertise in fast growing business environments.
Bob Wrightson – Profile:
After serving as a Commissioned Officer in the United States Army, Bob joined Citibank in 1986. As a Vice President and Director, he led multi-hundred-million-dollar high volume processes and call center operations and managed the largest global credit card portfolio and third-party collections network.
Recruited in 1997 to join Aon Consulting Worldwide (ACW) he was initially assigned to save and grow a start-up business practice. Upon its successful turnaround, he spent the next ten years building efficient business operations across six Aon subsidiary companies and assigned to improve ACW’s BPO multi-site call center service operations.
In 2007, as an independent management consultant, Bob advised and supported senior stakeholders, led business assessments, and developed and implemented process improvements across multiple industries that include manufacturing, technology, financial services, fashion, and B2B services.
He joined Fortegra Financial, a $350MM insurance BPO provider, as Vice President of Operations where he merged the business operations of five acquisitions, built out and directed six call center service operations supporting seven subsidiary companies resulting in reduced operating costs, increased service levels and consistent achievement of 100% SLA’s performance. Additionally, he improved claims loss-ratios by 15%, and shortened client onboarding time 63% saving millions in revenue.
More recently, Bob served as the Executive Vice President for Essex Construction, a commercial construction company where he served as the CEO. In this role, he was responsible for the company’s P&L, expansion into additional lines of business, process improvements, and overseeing operations in support of the most recently completed large scale construction project: the MGM National Harbor Casino in the Washington D.C. Area. He and his Team implemented financial management discipline, improved back-office productivity 20%, and grew new business pipeline 6X.
Bob’s formal education includes receiving a Bachelor of Science Degree from West Point and an MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University. He is trained and skilled in successfully employing the methodologies of Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, ISO Certification, Turnaround Management (Turnaround Management Association), Operations Excellence (Purdue University), Project Management (Dept. of Defense), and Total Quality Management.
