Kimberly Ashley of Castries Comprehensive Secondary School (CCSS) dominated the Miss Spring Time Princess Pageant held on Saturday, May 31 at the Bay Gardens Hotel in Rodney Bay, Gros Islet.
The 16-year-old also won the following categories: the people’s choice, best introduction, best in swim suit, teen top model, and best talent.
Abegail Fadlin, 17, of Vide Bouteille Secondary was awarded second runner-up and Laurencia Joseph, 10, of Ave Maria Girls Primary was awarded the first runner-up.
Fadlin also won best in couture fashion gowns while Joseph also won best in sport wear. Merlica Joseph of CCSS won the best interview segment.
The pageant was hosted by Nicholas Fashion and Models Management (NFMM) in collaboration with St. Lucia Teens Pageantry.
“The Little Miss Pageant is at the request of several parents who wish to see their children engaged in positive activities that expose them to events that build their confidence, self-esteem while promoting other qualities such as team spirit,” said CEO and Managing Director of NFMM, Maradona Nicholas.
He added: “NFMM and SLU Teen pageantry believe in diversity, creative arts and the youth, decreasing the use of drugs, alcohol and stopping violence. We focus on our youth personal development and creating programmes which will keep the youth mind positive.”
