Karib Cable workers vote in secret ballot poll

Technicians and linesmen employed with Karib Cable participated in a secret ballot poll on Thursday, September 12, 2013.

The secret ballot poll which was undertaken by the Ministry of Labour was supervised by Labour Inspector, Ms. Beverly Dubois.

The process when completed will determine one way or another, the wishes of the workers in support of the recognition claim made on their behalf by the National Workers Union (NWU).

The process began at 7 a.m. with workers being given time off to participate in the exercise.
