Last year’s second runner-up in the Miss Gros Islet Carnival Queen Pageant, Kadijha Mason, will represent Saint Lucia at the 19th annual Miss PJD2 Caribbean Queen Pageant in St. Maarten on Sunday, April 27.

Mason is among 18 contestants scheduled to compete. The other contestants hail from Anguilla, Aruba, Belize, Curacao, Dominica, Guyana, Haiti, Jamaica, Montserrat, Nevis, St. Maarten, Suriname, British Virgin Islands, Venezuela, Antigua, Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico.

Mason, who won the Miss Popularity award at the 2013 Miss Gros Islet pageant, is for the upcoming Miss PJD2 pageant, seeking the support of all St. Lucians to vote for her online to win the favourite contestant/popularity award. CLICK HERE to place your vote now.

Mason, who hails from Corinth, is no stranger to regional pageantry. Her winning achievement at the 2011 Miss St. Lucia Talented Teen afforded her the opportunity to represent St. Lucia in Basseterre, St. Kitts at the Miss Caribbean Talented Teen.

She is a past student of the Castries Comprehensive Secondary School and member of the Silver Shadow Dance Academy.

  3. She is also a past student of the methodist school in castries. yall always forget the primary school in yall reporting. Thats where she began. Just like sports the inter secondary sports was live on tv but there was nothing on the inter primary school sports. Did the students come from their mothers' bellies and go straight to secondary school. NOOOOOO!!! they went to primary school first.

    • Yes ok if they were giving her biography i guess they would have mentioned primary school.Usually the last school attended is mentioned in things like that. So your agrument has no basis. Good luck to her whichever school she comes from doesnt matter now. Let us rep St. Lucian!
