JUSTUS sings in Laborie

PRESS RELEASE – For yet another year, the popular youth based community vocal group JUSTUS will this summer be taking their programme of mixed choral music to communities throughout the island, with a tour that culminates at the Bay Gardens Hotel on Thursday 13 August 2015.

The JUSTUS STAYTOUR 2015 brings on stage about 15 members, aged from 18-28 years aimed at pursuing excellence in the performance of the widest possible range of choral repertoire.

These concerts will be under the choral direction of Mr. John Paul Bailey director of the MUSICMAN Learning Centre and Windward Piano Sales and of Jason C. Joseph, MOE Curriculum Specialist for Music, who, under his ‘Bachelor’ sobriquet, was twice crowned calypso monarch.

JUSTUS will commence their tour with a concert in the community of Laborie on Thursday July 30th 2015, at the Laborie Parish Hall from 7:00PM. This concert will mark the start of an activity-packed

Emancipation week-end organized by the community group LABOWI Promotions.The musical group promises to entertain patrons with a wide selection of great hits in all musical genres from Classical and Gospel to Reggae and Soca of course paired with interesting choral movement and eye-catching costumes; as per what they have delivered in their past four concerts held in that area.
