As the court battle between former British supermodel Christina Estrada and Saudi billionaire Dr Walid Juffali continues in the British High Court, emotions are flaring up.
Estrada is said to be making huge demands, turning down a £37million settlement from her ex-husband and is instead demanding around £196million, the Daily Mail has reported.
The former supermodel broke down in tears when questioned on her requirements in court, stating that she was an international model who is accustom to a lavish lifestyle.
The court heard that Estrada wants a £1million-a-year clothes budget – including £40,000 for fur coats, £109,000 for haute couture dresses and £21,000 for shoes every year.
The attorney representing Juffali, Justin Warshaw told Daily Mail that his client’s personal assets were only £22million, plus a trust which might be worth £96million, and for her to receive £196million.
Juffali is being treated for cancer at a hospital in Zurich, Switzerland.
