PRESS RELEASE – Twenty seven (27) year old Johann M. Harewood has been appointed Assistant Secretary General of the National Workers Union (NWU).

The UWI St. Augustine, Trinidad graduate holds a B Sc. (Hons) in Economics and Management and a Certificate of Education in Economics. He also holds qualifications as a UWI Certified Mediator, having completed a course in practical mediation two years ago.

Mr. Harewood who has been employed with the National Workers Union for about five (5) years as Finance Administrator will now assume industrial relations responsibilities.

He has attended trade union training sessions both locally and regionally. The National Workers Union is quite pleased with his progress thus far.

CSA need to learn from nwu get qualify persons to head the organization not person without a degree or have 0 CXC. ..so yo all trying to get rid of Mr Pierre who is a qualified and experience economist and to bring in Lilia with 0 CXC and the labour hack with zero degree...wow and a president with zero degree..
