PRESS RELEASE – Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA)/ Japan Overseas Cooperation Volunteers (JOCV) St. Lucia will hold its 50th Anniversary of the Japan Overseas Cooperation Volunteers (JOCV) (worldwide) and the 20th Anniversary of the founding of the JOCV in St. Lucia.
The celebration will be held on Thursday, 9th July at 3:00 p.m. at The Reduit Room at Rex by Royal St. Lucia in Rodney Bay.
The conference will feature speeches by, Dr. Akihiko Tanaka, President of JICA, Honorable Dr. Kenny D. Anthony, Prime Minister of St. Lucia and H.E. Ambassador Tezuka, Ambassador of Japan to St. Lucia.
It is a celebration of a half-decade of JOCV work under JICA’s assistance Programs in collaboration with Japan and a celebration of two decades of collaborative volunteer work directly between Japan and St. Lucia.
