Three days of contemporary Caribbean cross-over music at the Derek Walcott Square in town kicks off today, May 7 at 12 noon.
The lineup of ‘Jazz on the Square’ will feature not only local performers, but diverse renditions from Trinidad and Barbados musicians.
The Landmarks Event-organised concert starts from 12 noon to 3 p.m.
Barbadian band 688 Orchestra will headline Wednesday’s lineup. St. Lucian artist Carl Gustave and ASAP of St Lucia will also grace the stage.
On Thursday, May 8, Barbara Cadet, St. Lucian reggae artist Meshach and the group, Sole-2-Sole, will be on.
On Friday, May 9, Skip Monday and DYP, both of St. Lucia, as well as Overdrive of Trinidad will bring the curtains down on the event.
