Jazz is “in the air” at Rainforest Hideway

PRESS RELEASE – St Lucia’s most romantic waterfront restaurant, Rainforest Hideaway, has released a wonderful line up of local performers to accompany diners at their award-winning restaurant in Marigot Bay.

The restaurant has created it’s very own Jazz Week to coincide with St Lucia Jazz and Arts Festival activities. From May 5th diners will be treated to an extra-special serving of smooth jazz sounds by the very best of St Lucia’s jazz artists.

Jazz has been “on the Menu” since Rainforest Hideaway opened 10 years ago, and the restaurant currently runs popular live dinner-jazz programmes each week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturday nights. Now that jazz is “in the air” throughout St. Lucia in May, Rainforest Hideaway has increased its jazz offerings. Their Jazz Week from May 5 to May 10 features Allison Marquis & Friends on Monday, May 5 and Friday, May 9. Augustin (Jab) Duplessis on Tuesday, May 6, Emerson Nurse & Empress Ila on Wednesday, May 7 and Saturday, May 10, and St. Lucia School of Music Jazz Quintet, Thursday, May 8.

Romantic Rainforest Hideaway, set on the deck at the edge of the mangroves, is a simply magical place to spend an evening enjoying European/Caribbean fusion cuisine and drinking champagne under the stars. Fine dining in this exotic tropical garden on the edge of the lagoon teeming with fish, make Rainforest a favourite hideaway for St Lucians and a popular haunt for visiting celebrities.

Augustin (Jab) Duplessis.

Rainforest is easily accessible by boat and car with free taxi collection and return for six (or more) adult diners. This service must be arranged with the restaurant in advance. North of island only. Reservations are recommended.
