(JAMAICA OBSERVER) – A 30-year-old man believed to be behind the gruesome beheading of a young man over the weekend and the fatal chopping of another last night in the Cascade community of Hanover has been killed by the police.
The accused killer has been identified as Keron Watson, a mechanic.
A reliable police source said Watson was killed Tuesday morning during a confrontation with the police who went to a house in search of him.
Watson is believed to be behind the fatal chopping of Clive Ellis, a farmer of a Cascade address about 8:30 pm on Monday.
Ellis’ death follows Saturday’s mutilation of 25-year-old Keneil Hall from the community of Region.
Hall was beheaded about 9:30 am on Saturday following reports of an altercation between himself and another man, said to be Watson, in the community of Cascade.
Over 36 murders have been committed in the parish since the start of the year.
